| Here are some large beveled clusters for use in large windows, doors,
room dividers, etc. If a setting such as an entryway has multiple panels
(separate window openings), these can be combined with smaller clusters,
some of which are specifically designed to match these larger clusters.
The letters "GC" at the end of a catalog number indicate that the surface
of each beveled piece has been "glue-chipped", a process that adds a
frost-on-the-window type texture to the face (only) of each beveled piece.
This allows a beveled look but with a lot more privacy than with bevels that
are not glue-chipped . The actual beveled edges of each glue-chipped piece
of glass remain clear, untextured glass. However, these edges are at an angle
to the plane of the window and thus add to the privacy factor in a different
way. Clusters that come glue-chipped usually come in non-glue-chipped versions
as well, and are usually shown next to each other. |
