| A stained glass valance can be an alternative for achieving a built-in stained glass look without going to the expense of filling an entire window with stained glass. The image on the left shows a set of two windows... the image on the right shows the tops of two exterior patio doors. In both situations, I designed and created stained glass panels that were mounted at the tops of the window frames and held in place by hidden screws. Both of these projects were leaded glass. The small circular pieces in the image on the left are faceted glass "jewels" in various colors. | |
