This is a freehanging artwork that was designed to match the odd shape of the window in which it hangs. We decided to leave 3" of uncovered space around the entire artwork. The outer Edge of the stained glass is reinforced with a 3/4" zinc came that is very strong.

The beveled glass pieces at the center of this design are one of the many stock beveled designs that are available to most glass artists. This particular cluster of bevels incorporated a number of non-beveled spaces, which we chose to fill with red glass. The other main color in the clients' decor was green... it took a bit of convincing for me to get them to accept that red and green don't always look like Christmas.

This window was very captivating, once installed, to both the clients and myself.

Please excuse the fact that this window doesn't look quite level... my photographic skills aren't always up to par.
