to have it and I was glad to give it to him. I also get to go on
hanging it in my home until he has a place of his own to grace with
This artwork is one of my favorites.
This piece is constructed with both copper foil and lead came. The
Buddha was completed first using the copper-foil method. Then, the
Buddha was treated just like any other single piece of glass while
the visual mantra was constructed with lead came around it. I used
5/32" lead came throughout.
required a lot of mathematical manipulation during the design phase and
technical skill during the construction phase, and it is a testament
to my mastery of this art form.
