Here is a recent gift I did for a woman in California. She wanted a sun-face artwork to present as a gift for her husband, who watches CBS Sunday Morning and likes the sun-themed artworks they show between segments. I submitted seven sun-themed designs, and she picked this one. Once the computer design was colored correctly, she trusted me to pick the actual glasses, which allows me to make selections as I go, and works well for intricate and multi-colored designs such as this. This free-hanging artwork is mounted in a ready-made oak frame that is available to me in a number of sizes and shapes. The stained glass is 30 inches. With the wood frame, the overall size is just over 34 inches. Although sun stained glass designs are plentiful in stained glass pattern books, I had never done a sun-themed stained glass artwork until now. I think this one came out great, don't you? She did!
